Just this week, I was looking through my Singer sewing books, wondering if I had the one on lingerie. Sadly, I didn’t. I only had about two days to regret this before I found it at the library book sale for $1. There was a box under a table just filled with the Singer sewing books, but I already own most of them, so only got a few. There were also about 7 volumes of old McCall’s Needlework & Crafts in a library binding from about 1965 to 1972. I really wanted them, but since I already own copies of those, I left those beautiful bound volumes for someone else.

There is one copy of this book at the local used-book store, but the price was too high for me. I would look through it every time I went to the fashion section of the store, and then there it was at the booksale for a dollar. It is from the era of A-line dresses:
