Here’s a look into a little embroidery pamphlet published in 1914. Some of the designs could be used to decorate clothing such as the yoke of a peasant top.
This booklet is really tiny, measuring only about 8″ x 5″. I can’t remember where I got it, probably at the antique fair where I bought a whole stack of pamphlets for about 50 cents apiece.
Yesterday we went to the Lambtown festivities in Dixon and made the acquaintance of several alpacas. They seemed to have a lot more personality than the sheep.
