I finished another peasant top for M, this time with a robot embroidery design. The design is from the Embroidery Library and can be found on their site, just search for ‘Robots’.
The pattern is McCalls 5627, and the fabric is a black Dvala sheet from IKEA. The twin sheets are only $4.50, so you get a lot of yardage for the money, and they are cotton. A big rainy weather system is passing through our area, so it is hard to take good pictures, but I dashed out in between the thunderstorms and took some pictures of the blouse.
The yoke portion is lined with some hot pink sheeting I have in the stash. The two blue shirts for A are all finished, but she came home for a quick visit and took them home before I remembered to photograph them.
My poor garden is languishing in the cold temperatures and never-ending rain, but the weather reports say the next few weeks will be more normal with higher temperatures and lots of sun. Here’s hoping.

The robots are adorable! They would looks so cute on kids’ clothes.
